The Cities of Atlantic Canada

Fredericton, New Brunswick

Fredericton, the capital of Canada's only bilingual province, is a community with a history of strong and consistent economic growth and development. Fredericton is blessed with cultural amenities not normally found in a city of this size, and has one of the lowest crime rates in the Province, and in fact Canada. Traffic jams are unheard of -- most Frederictonians commute to work in less than ten minutes, and housing costs are among the lowest in Canada. And Fredericton has a strong and burgeoning knowledge-based economy. You can also find more information about relocating to Fredericton at Team Fredericton, Tourism Fredericton, the City of Fredericton, Canadian Relocation Systems and Found Locally's Business Directory.

Moncton, New Brunswick

A vibrant and friendly city with a rich cultural heritage, Moncton is considered an economic leader in the Atlantic Canada region. With its flair for life, rich culture, events, festivals and happenings, Moncton is an exciting place to be. Not to mention it is located a mere twenty minutes from Parlee Beach, one of the warmest salt water beaches north of the Carolinas.

Saint John, New Brunswick

Saint John is the largest city in the province of New Brunswick, has the largest commercial port on the Bay of Fundy and is home to the highest tides in the world. Saint John is also Canada's first incorporated city and has a rich cultural heritage, with fine examples of historic architecture.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Metro Halifax is the commercial, educational, research and technological centre of Atlantic Canada. Rich in charm and history, Halifax has recently celebrated the 250th anniversary of its founding. Home to charming seaside communities, sparkling coves and miles of rugged Atlantic shoreline, the quality of life here is an enviable one.
