Here's what VEC team members have to say
about their work:
"After years in the corporate world
working for promotions, a bigger office, and
a higher salary, I realized that I wanted
more. I wanted the personal satisfaction of
knowing that my work was something of value,
something that wouldn't just look good in a
shareholder's report, but would make the
world a better place to live in.
After receiving an offer to work for a
company that was doing something special, I
packed up my life and my husband and left
the Big City to come and live on Canada's
East Coast, where life tends to be a little
slower, a little more relaxed, and much less
corporate.
It wasn't until I started working at
Virtual Expert Clinics that I realized just
how special this company was ... with a
mission to develop a program that delivers
autism services over the Internet right into
the homes of the families who desperately
need to access these services, but for a
variety of reasons, most out of their
control, cannot. How could I go wrong?
Since coming here, I've met and worked
with many of these families. I've listened
to their stories and shared in their
struggle. It makes me feel good to know that
I'm making their lives a little better and
that sure makes it easy to go to work in the
morning."
