THE OPPORTUNITY
Q1 Labs is looking for an experienced
Network Operations Engineer with a
strong background in Perl development to join their
team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an
industry leader with a team of highly talented software
engineers using "leading edge" technologies. You
will be heavily involved in implementing support for the
network devices to read configurations and parse the
configurations into a common model. You will work on the team
responsible for device integrations. You will be
working on the
development of
network inventory and configuration management
ZipTie
device adaptors that discover and manage network devices
such as routers, switches and firewalls.
The Requirements
Our ideal candidate is an experienced
network engineer with very strong
skills in IP
networking and good experience
with Perl programming.
Strong experience in a UNIX or Linux
environment is a must. If
you have worked on a network tools team
at an enterprise that worked with a
broad spectrum of vendors' devices, we
definitely want to hear from you.
Experience with Java and Eclipse are
definite assets as is CCNA
certification.
